Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking an Assistant Director, Training Grants - Post Award Administrator to provide financial and compliance oversight for NIH training grants (T32) and F31 awards. You will collaborate with URA and departmental teams to manage budgets, stipends, and reporting.

Hybrid work arrangement; you will ensure NIH policy compliance, prepare reports, and support program administrators in renewals and RPPR processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years' experience in a related role or discipline.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Experience administering NIH grants (T32 or NRSA) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-award and financial activities for T32 training grants, including budget monitoring and reallocations.
• Provide financial data and reports from Oracle/ERP systems on a regular basis.
• Coordinate with URA and departments on budget year accounts and trainee stipends.
• Ensure NIH compliance, RPPR submissions, and final financial reporting.
