Job summary

Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a Scientific Program Manager to support the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. You will collaborate with NHLBI HIV/AIDS Program staff to advance scientific initiatives, coordinate program announcements, and monitor program performance.

The role requires extensive NIH program management experience, the ability to conduct portfolio analyses, and strong coordination with NIH offices and external partners.

Qualifications

• Ten years of NIH scientific program management experience required.
• Experience conducting quantitative/qualitative portfolio analysis.
• Experience supporting NIH-wide HIV committees and working groups.
• Experience translating HIV research priorities into funding opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with NHLBI staff on general scientific issues related to the HIV/AIDS Program.
• Develop and coordinate scientific initiatives, including PAs, RFAs, and RFPs.
• Coordinate and monitor scientific programs and activities.
• Plan, monitor, and conduct administrative and portfolio analyses to evaluate program goals.
