The Shansky Lab in the Department of Psychology at Northeastern University is seeking a full-time postdoc to conduct NIH-funded behavioral neuroscience research investigating sex differences in cortical circuits mediating defensive responding.

Responsibilities include rodent colony management, stereotaxic surgery, behavior testing, fiber photometry protocols and data analysis, and tissue processing for immunohistochemistry and RNAscope.

Qualificações

• PhD in neuroscience, psychology, or a related field and at least three years of experience in a rodent neuroscience lab are required.
• Skills related to the techniques listed above are preferred.
