Job summary

ParkX Management seeks a Security Officer for overnight shifts (11 PM – 7 AM) at Reston, VA. The role ensures a safe, clean, and positive experience for residents, tenants, and guests.

Responsibilities include hourly patrols, guest/tenant/vendor access control, enforcing policies, reporting safety issues, and supporting events. The position requires a high school diploma and VA security certification, plus customer-service experience and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be certified security officer by the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Control access for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce no dogs on the plaza and other site rules.
• Observe and report safety concerns and incidents.
• Assist with events and manage plaza-related tasks as needed.
• Ensure fire access areas remain accessible and loading docks are secure.
