Job summary

Nouria Energy Corporation is hiring a Sales Associate to support store operations and provide a friendly, efficient customer experience in our New England locations. You will greet customers, handle transactions, promote specials, and help maintain a safe, clean store environment during your shift.

You will work with team members to deliver exceptional service while following company policies and state regulations, including ID checks for tobacco and alcohol where applicable.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write English at an eighth‑grade level.
• Ability to validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol (as required).
• Can lift up to 30 pounds and carry cases of milk, beverages, etc. with proper technique.
• Ability to remain calm and follow policies in emergencies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (coolers, outdoors, store).
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule and communicate with management about store operations.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift per guidelines.
• Greet customers, promote specials, and suggest purchases.
• Execute the store's customer service program at the site level.
• Minimize safety risks and ensure environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and appearance; report incidents.
• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently and support Health & Safety programs.
