Job summary

Nouria Energy Corporation in New Hampshire is seeking a Sales Associate to operate the station during shifts, greet customers, handle transactions, promote specials, and ensure quick, friendly service. You will work with management to meet store goals and maintain cleanliness and safety.

This role supports safety and station appearance, complies with ID checks for tobacco/alcohol, and requires the ability to lift items, work in varying temperatures, and provide a welcoming customer experience.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level. Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level in order to be able to make change, complete shift reports, and account for a variety of products during vendor check-in.
• Ability to validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol (as per required under regulations).
• Can lift up to 30 pounds, and carry cases of milk cartons and soft drinks, beer and juice containers through proper lifting techniques
• Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in emergencies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products; work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside in various weather conditions, and in the store)
• Perform general housekeeping duties as needed
• Must be 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with management on store operations in a timely manner, especially changes or items affecting operations.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift per guidelines.
• Provide the best customer experience and greet customers with a smile while promoting specials.
• Assume responsibility for executing the customer service program at the site level.
• Maintain safety and station appearance by reducing safety risks, enforcing regulations, and documenting incidents.
• Operate equipment safely and support the Safety and Health program.
• Report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses promptly.
• Complete the new employee safety orientation procedure
