Job summary

JJ Foodservice is seeking a dedicated Freezer Operative for the night shift to join our warehouse team. This permanent role includes comprehensive training and clear opportunities for progression with a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Excellent people skills, as well as being a great team player.
• Good communication skills.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting).
• A good standard of spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing frozen items for customer collection orders.
• Receive goods from suppliers and check against delivery notes.
• Store items safely in the correct location.
• Receive and store returned items with required documentation.
• Check stock for damage, loss or short-dated items and report.
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products.
• Push/pull trolley to carry items.
