Qualifications

• Ability to operate computer
• Knowledge of steel types and inventory locations
• Ability to read safety rules, MSDS, blueprints and procedures
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Responsibilities

• Receive job packets for production part orders
• Determine presses and dies for production parts
• Load raw material (steel coils) onto machines using forklift
• Operate high voltage spot welders and fasten parts
• Welding where required and applicable
• Maintain counts and prep parts for packing/shipping
• Place finished parts on skid or in box
• Complete paperwork
• Move finished parts to next area of production
• Maintain machines and shop cleanliness
