Job summary

Waterside District presents an evening bar role at PBR Norfolk, inviting energetic individuals to deliver fast, friendly cocktail service in a vibrant setting. You will greet guests, take and upsell orders, and coordinate with bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in a busy food & beverage venue, fluent English, and be able to handle cash/credit while maintaining high guest satisfaction. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Must speak fluent English; other languages a plus.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly and professionally.
• Serve cocktails and menu items; upsell when taking orders.
• Communicate clearly with guests and staff; use the POS system accurately.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and cut service when needed; ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash/credit; complete side work and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff.
