Job summary

MWVCAA (Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency) is seeking a Youth Site Specialist to supervise and mentor at-risk youth at HOME Youth Services shelters. The role focuses on building connections, providing resources, and supporting independent living goals in a safe environment.

The YSS will coordinate with Case Managers and volunteers, assist with intake and documentation, and support residents with daily needs, transportation, and referrals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four+ years of customer service, healthcare, education, social or community services experience preferred or equivalent.
• College course work in social sciences or related human services preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for shift and supervise residents.
• Train incoming staff and volunteers on duties and policies.
• Provide direct supervision and help with independent living skills and goal setting for youth.
• Transport clients to school, appointments and activities in agency vehicles.
• Coordinate with Case Managers, Site Specialists and volunteers.
• Assist with intake, enrollment and shelter placement documentation.
