Rite of Passage at Sierra Sage Treatment Center in Yerington, Nevada is hiring Night Youth Care Workers to provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program. You will monitor behaviors and support educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.

We seek empathetic, patient individuals who want to work with troubled teens. Must be 21+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass background checks, drug screen, TB test, and a state child

Qualifications

• Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
• Have a desire to work with troubled teens.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Responsibilities

• As a Night Youth Care Worker, you will provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students.
• You will monitor and document student behaviors and activities, participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities, and work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.
