FedEx Logistics in Saint Paul, MN, is seeking a Yard Switcher/Package Handler responsible for moving trailers between yard and doors, and assisting with package handling in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with management, document moves, perform basic inspections, and follow safety protocols. The role may include manual lifting and sorting duties.

The position offers hourly pay of $21.50–$24.00, with night schedule; valid driver's license and DOT file required.

Formación

• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) file.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information in order to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes and unloading devices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Move trailers between yard and doors as defined (hooking and moving a parked trailer).
• Coordinate trailer movements in the yard with management and central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Assist with package handling duties as needed (loading/unloading, sorting).
