Job summary

Ground Effects LLC is seeking Yard Porters to drive vehicles, assist with receiving, labeling and staging all vehicles into the yard per customer and internal requirements, and help update vehicle inventory. You will report damage, flag mis-ships, and support FIFO-based yard flow while following OSHA, health & safety procedures.

The 3rd shift runs Sunday through Thursday with a 7.5% shift premium, starting at $19.50 per hour and overtime availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Must comply with Health & Safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Valid US Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate customer vehicles.
• Assist with receiving, labeling and staging all vehicles into the yard per requirements.
• Report any damage on incoming vehicles to yard lead.
• Flag and stage mis-shipped vehicles as instructed by yard lead or supervisor.
• Stage vehicles based on FIFO ordering.
• Keep yard lead informed of processing concerns.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and safety per policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
