Job summary

Julius Silvert, Inc. in Philadelphia seeks an experienced Night Yard Manager to oversee the movement of vans, trucks and tractor-trailers in the yard and loading docks while ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You will perform DVIR inspections, coordinate with the on-site mechanic, handle required paperwork, and maintain truck cleanliness. CDL A is required; ability to pass a background screen and drug test is expected.

Qualifications

• CDL A license is required.
• Professional driving experience required.
• Flexible with hours.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to pass physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely move box trucks in the yard for loading, fueling, and cleaning.
• Conduct paperwork as required.
• Perform DVIR mechanical inspections daily and report findings.
• Communicate with onsite mechanic nightly and report information.
• Maintain cleanliness of all trucks, including power washing of boxes.
• Other duties as assigned.
