The role requires 2+ years forklift and pallet jack experience, preferred reach truck familiarity, and the ability to work in dry, cold, and freezer zones. You must be accurate, have strong communication, and lift 50+ lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load, and unload trucks; check in food products.
• Identify, sort, and place products on racks by size, type, expiration date, or code.
• Label products with identifying information.
• Move products to temperature-controlled storage or other designated areas.
• Perform letdowns and put-away tasks.
• Keep warehouse and work area organized at all times.
• Work in three temperature zones: dry, cold, and freezer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Julius Silvert is looking to hire a Night Warehouse Forklift/Reach Truck Operator. Do you have 2-3 years of forklift experience? Are you interested in working within the food industry with a growing food distribution company? We want to expand our Day Warehouse team with an experienced Forklift Operator. Do you have the skills to succeed?

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing required warehouse functions including receiving purchase orders, loading & unloading of trucks, checking in food products, and handling purchased items.
• Identifying, sorting, and placing products or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, expiration date, or product code.
• Label the product with identifying information using the appropriate method.
• Moving products and items from receiving to temperature-controlled storage areas or to other designated areas.
• Work on letdowns and put them away.
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Able to work in 3 different temperature zones (Dry, Cold, and freezer).
