Job summary

Carter's Inc. is hiring for a Backup Yard Driver on 3rd Shift in Braselton, GA. The role supports distribution operations by handling trailers, yard moves, and dock coordination, using RF scanners and lift equipment where required.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of yard driving experience, with the ability to work safely in a multi-shift environment and follow Carter's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of computers, RF Scanners and Warehouse Management systems.
• Proven team member with skills to multi-task.
• Must be able to be certified on lift equipment.
• Follows Carter's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Check in/out for equipment and place trailers/containers into receiving/shipping docks.
• Move empty trailers/containers to loading docks and maintain yard inventory.
• Weigh loads using trailer scale and seal trailers.
• Coordinate traffic with Loss Prevention and Security; perform yard audits as needed.
• Participate in facility safety initiatives and adhere to SOPs.
