Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in New Iberia, LA is hiring a Yard Driver (Non DOT). This rotating night shift runs 6pm–6am with pay at $21.45 per hour plus a $1.25 shift premium.

The role involves safely moving trailers, spotting at docks, conducting equipment inspections, and coordinating with warehouse and transportation teams to maintain a safe, organized yard. Responsibilities include switching trailers, fueling, recording logs, and ensuring loads meet local guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of one year verifiable experience driving, switching or commercial tractor.

Responsibilities

• Switch trailers and equipment to and from docks to maintain safe, efficient dock operation.
• Load and unload trucks; verify product count and condition.
• Maintain a clean, organized yard and monitor equipment for safety issues.
• Record logs and reports as required by policies and procedures.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and guidelines.
