Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is hiring for a 3rd Shift Non-DOT Yard Driver at Mark IV. The role involves moving trailers and containers safely, operating yard trucks and forklifts, and performing routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance.

Shift is 5am–5pm, Friday through Sunday, with pay of $22.90 plus a 1.75 shift differential. Ideal candidates have at least one year of verifiable experience driving or switching tractors, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of one year verifiable experience driving, switching or commercial tractor.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers and containers around the yard in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate yard trucks, forklift, or other equipment to facilitate movement of freight.
• Perform routine inspections of trailers and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain safe and efficient dock operation by switching trailers and equipment to and from docks.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies (tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, water) and report maintenance needs.
