Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10:00pm–6:30am) in Omaha. You will lead dock activities, coordinate trailer movements, and partner with operations, safety, and customer teams to ensure safe and efficient yard flow.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and dock equipment handling.
• Serve as primary contact for loading/unloading dock activities.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe situations.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, and customer teams.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities follow guidelines and safety standards.
• Support 7S workplace organization.
• Conduct regular visual inspections for risks or delays.
• Use Office and Google tools to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage to site leadership and lead peers.
