Job summary

Milwaukie, Oregon-based X-Ray Technologist position for a 13-week contract with night shifts (Fri–Sun, 10:00 PM–8:30 AM). You will perform routine and emergency diagnostic X-Ray exams, position patients, and ensure safe imaging practices.

ARRT certification and Oregon radiologic technologist license (if applicable), BLS, and solid radiographic skills are required or preferred. Epic documentation experience is a plus while maintaining image quality and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (R) certification is required
• Oregon Radiologic Technologist license is required if applicable
• BLS certification is required
• Minimum 1 year of recent X-Ray experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment safely
• Strong patient positioning and image-quality skills
• Epic documentation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency diagnostic X-Ray examinations
• Position patients appropriately and operate radiographic equipment safely
• Verify patient identity and follow radiation-safety protocols
• Evaluate image quality and submit completed studies to PACS
• Document procedures accurately using Epic
• Monitor and maintain imaging equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment
• Provide professional and patient-centered care
• Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, and safety standards
