Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada seeks a Registered Nurse for critical care with expertise in IV therapy. The role requires caring for acutely ill patients in a highly monitored setting, administering IV therapies under physician direction, and documenting patient care accurately.

Candidates should hold Nevada RN licensure (BLS/ACLS) and USGIV/PICC certification, with availability for night and weekend shifts. Prior CCU/ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with a minimum of two years in critical care within the past five years.
• Current USGIV/PICC certification.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nevada; BLS and ACLS.
• Must be open to nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to acutely and critically ill patients requiring IV treatment in a high-tech, continually monitored environment.
• Administer intravenous therapies as directed by a physician.
• Observe IV therapy and document findings in patient medical records.
• Educate patients and families about IV treatments and procedures.
