Job summary

The Bungalows at Springdale is hiring Resident Care Associates to join our team. This full-time night shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) position reports to the Wellness Director and provides hands-on care in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods.

Responsibilities include developing and updating personalized service plans, maintaining hydration schedules, assisting with activities, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred or may be required by the state.
• Previous experience with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care aspects.
• Knowledge/experience in Assisted Living or Dementia care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing and updating Personalized Service Plans; attends plan review meetings with families.
• Follows hydration schedule for residents during shift.
• Completes resident meal attendance sheets and provides room service if not dining in dining room.
• Knows and complies with all resident rights.
• Initiates, assigns, and assists with activities as appropriate.
• Checks residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and changes in condition.
• Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Checks assigned resident rooms for cleanliness and tightness; double-checks high-risk rooms.
• Assists with laundry and cleaning of common areas, bathrooms; secures chemicals as needed.
• Completes all ADLs for residents as per PSP.
• Responds promptly to security system and resident call bells.
