Qualifications

• Accurate arithmetic calculations with fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Lead and develop a team to create a customer-focused department culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service greeting customers by name.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere of teamwork and accountability.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
• Set department goals with Store Director and write schedules.
• Plan daily work, communicate sales ideas, and address customer issues promptly.
• Inspect displays, merchandise, and order replenishment.
• Ensure accurate and competitive pricing in the market area.
• Oversee department bookkeeping procedures and invoices.
• Analyze weekly/monthly sales trends and prepare ads.
• Manage inventory, displays, promotions, and pre-orders.
• Maintain proper temperatures and storage to ensure freshness and reduce shrink.
