Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Fast & Fresh Assistant Department Manager to support the Fast & Fresh Manager in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining department standards, and ensuring efficient store operations.

The role requires a High School diploma or related experience, strong arithmetic and communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist customers, manage displays, and help with inventory and daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or over one year of related work experience.
• Ability to perform arithmetic with fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers in the store.
• Assist customers by escorting to products and answering questions.
• Handle cash register duties and ensure cash accountability.
• Support department manager with daily tasks and inventory processes.
• Maintain department standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
