Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for our Minnesota retail pharmacy. You will support pharmacists with prescription processing, insurance billing, customer service, and inventory while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

The role may include administering vaccines where allowed, with full responsibilities across processing and customer interactions in a fast-paced setting. Shift coverage includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Certified as a licensed pharmacy technician through a national program; certification must be maintained.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the pharmacy counter.
• Accept new written prescriptions and telephoned refills under supervision.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription products for dispensing.
• Submit insurance claims and assist with third-party billing.
• Order, stock, and log pharmacy supplies.
