Job summary

US Foods in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Night Warehouse Manager to lead operations, drive safety, and ensure accurate receiving, storage, and loading of outbound product. You will coach warehouse associates, manage shifts, monitor performance, and collaborate with the operations team to control costs while maintaining food safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive warehouse experience, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to ensure an injury-free environment.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and policy training.
• Direct and supervise on-floor productivity and drive engagement and retention.
• Hire and build high-performing teams in conjunction with senior managers.
• Ensure accurate orders are staged and loaded for outbound shipments.
• Monitor performance metrics and coaching to improve safety and efficiency.
• Schedule shifts and designate dock locations ensuring FIFO and proper stock placement.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards and address hazards with the safety manager.
• Identify inventory shrink and cost-control opportunities with operations leadership.
