Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Warehouse Worker in New York to support picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping and receiving. The role requires operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and a cherry picker in a safe manner to meet daily productivity goals.

Responsibilities include reading orders, moving goods, organizing stock, and ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. The position emphasizes safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Incumbents follow instructions and perform related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved.
• Move materials to storage or other areas as needed.
• Sort and break down product by SKU and type.
• Operate electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.
• Ascend up to 25 ft on cherry picker in a safety harness.
• Communicate with Receivers, Drivers, Driver Check-in, and Forklift Operators.
• Adhere to safety practices for truck and trailer pull processes.
• Assemble orders from stock and prepare for shipping.
