Job summary

US Foods is seeking Warehouse Team Members in New York to safely and accurately pick customer orders, build and wrap pallets, and move products using order selecting software and equipment. You will perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate an electric pallet jack to prepare palletized orders for delivery.

Responsibilities include validating correct products, delivering to the dock, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders and build pallets to meet weekly productivity/accuracy standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate correct product is selected and undamaged.
• Deliver palletized orders to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap as needed.
• Team up to clear aisles, remove empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to charging area.
