Job summary

US Foods is hiring Warehouse Selectors for night shifts in Montgomery, AL. Starting pay is $18.27 per hour with potential incentive pay. Responsibilities include safely selecting orders, building pallets, and delivering to docks.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance and a strong safety culture. Must be able to work Sundays–Thurs and lift 20–80 lbs repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Must read and communicate in English to attend trainings, read labels and enter information.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday–Thursday; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Recent experience in high endurance or highly physical activity preferred.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders.
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity/accuracy standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate correct product and check for damage before palletizing.
• Deliver pallets to the correct dock area and shrink wrap orders.
• Collaborate to clear aisles, stack pallets, and return pallet jacks to charging area.
