Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Night Warehouse Selector in Iowa City, IA. You will safely and efficiently select and prepare customer orders, palletize them, and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating electric pallet jacks, using order selecting software, and maintaining safe, clean aisles. This role requires night shifts, with overtime and incentive pay available. Benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Recent experience in high-endurance or highly physical activity preferred.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders safely and accurately.
• Construct and wrap pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks.
• Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.
• Transport products to the designated dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Collaborate with team to maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to charging area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
