Job summary

United Natural Foods Inc. in Iowa City is looking for an Order Selector to join our warehouse team. You will accurately pick customer orders, palletize loads, and place items in correct locations using motorized equipment in a fast-paced setting.

This full-time role features a 4-day work week with Sundays mandatory, a starting pay of $21.29/hour plus $2.00/hour on Sundays, weekly pay, and benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement and PTO.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Lifting objects weighing from less than 20lbs to 60lbs consistently.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures from -10F to 75F.
• Must be 18 years or older and available for Sundays.
• Safety shoes must be worn on day 1.
• Good judgment with or without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Identify the pick locations and safely pick the items.
• Inspect assigned equipment for safety issues.
• Identify correct pick location, Master Case locations, and pick sequence.
• Pick correct item and quantity, checking UPCs/descriptions.
• Place pick labels on the side of the cases.
• Shrink wrap and label with required information for transport.
• Stage pallets in appropriate bay and build a stable pallet.
• Inform supervisor of any safety threats or policy violations.
• Operate pallet jack/pushcart safely and efficiently.
