Job summary

US Foods is hiring for a warehouse team member in Omaha. Starting pay is $28.45 per hour, with overtime and incentive pay based on productivity and quality. You will select and palletize orders, perform pre-shift checks, and ensure accurate, damage-free deliveries to docks.

You must be able to work 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday–Thursday, with weekends/holidays as needed. Previous high-endurance work or similar roles are favored.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate in English for trainings and safety notes.
• Must be able to lift 20–80+ lbs and work in multi-temperature environments.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution center operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely select and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets and verify accuracy and damage status.

Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracyPerform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric palletCarefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipmentValidate that correct product has been selected and is damage freeEfficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized ordersTeam up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging areaPhysical RequirementsComfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees requiredAbility to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift requiredWhat You Bring to the TableMust be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if neededAble to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday.
