Overview:

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Texas. With deliveries 365 days a year, 7 days a week, and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. We serve a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores, and retail outlets.

Summary:

Mr. Greens is seeking highly motivated and dedicated Selectors who can work independently selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using equipment such as pallet jacks. Responsibilities include fitting items on pallets, wrapping bundles, transporting pallets to the shipping dock, and sometimes loading them onto trailers for delivery. Safety is our top priority for all employees.

Qualifications

• Perform physical activities such as loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products by hand or with basic equipment
• Work in multi-temperature environments
• Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallets neatly using a pallet jack or forklift
• Use pick sheets to locate items within the warehouse
• Break down and restack merchandise from pallets
• Verify product quantities
• Ensure accurate and safe picking to prevent damage
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by disposing of scrap materials
• Maintain a food-safe environment
• Report damaged equipment to supervisors or maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Punctuality is required
• At least 1 year of experience with forklift or rider pallet jack
• Must pass a drug test
• Availability to work on weekends

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

The physical demands include frequent walking, kneeling, standing, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, and lifting over 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
