Job summary

Loffredo Fresh Foods is seeking a Night Warehouse Sanitation Clerk for a full-time position based in Des Moines, IA. The role supports food safety by ensuring sanitation standards are met and equipment is maintained. The night crew runs Sunday through Thursday, with scheduling starting at 6 PM.

You will work in a refrigerated environment, perform light maintenance, and collaborate with coworkers to meet regulatory and company requirements. Prior warehouse and sanitation experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment for 8+ hours.
• Knowledge and training of sanitation solutions and hazardous materials.
• Self-directed with ability to read and interpret company documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Able to relate to people at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines.
• Responsible for maintaining a level of cleanliness throughout the facility that meets all food industry regulations and company standards.
• Perform light maintenance work and incidental seasonal tasks.
• Ensure job-specific equipment is in proper working order and communicate repairs to management.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers, both internal and external.
• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
