Performance Food Group (PFG) is seeking a Night Shift Sanitation/Warehouse Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Position operates Sundays to Thursdays, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with starting pay of $15 per hour.

The role supports food distribution operations and safety standards. Responsibilities include janitorial duties, cleaning in dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and adherence to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Completes all tasks according to health and safety policies.
• Reports unsafe conditions to ensure team safety.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Handles cleaning chemicals per hazmat guidance.
• Completes required safety training modules in a timely manner.

Position Purpose

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.


• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.


• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.


• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.


• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.


• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.


• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.


• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.


• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment
