Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse Associate to maintain a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with compensation of $19–$21 per hour.

The role focuses on general janitorial tasks in dry, cooler and freezer areas, plus possible office area duties. This position emphasizes safety, adherence to health policies, and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 3-6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat sheets.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 7AM- 3PM

Compensation: $19-$21/hour
