Job summary

Floor & Decor is hiring a Receiving Associate in New York to assist with warehouse operations, unloading and staging products, and ensuring accurate receiving paperwork. Positions available include both full-time and part-time, with responsibilities spanning inventory control and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of warehouse experience, the ability to operate a forklift, and strong communication and detail-oriented skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and safety awareness.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed.
• Store products safely to conserve space and follow safety procedures.
• Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Demonstrate adherence to safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Complete required department and equipment training ( forklift certified ).
