Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to receive, store, and distribute materials and products for our customer base. You will read schedules, pick orders, and prepare shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will use a computer to enter records and support billing, with occasional driving to collect items for shipment. A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Reads production schedules and orders to determine items to be moved.
• Performs material handling and storage in designated areas.
• Records materials received and distributed using computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedules, customer orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts and stores items on racks by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Sorts perishable goods in refrigerated rooms as required.
• Fills requisitions and prepares items for distribution to production or shipping.
• Records quantities using computer systems and assists in billing process.
• Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items for shipment.
