Job summary

BG Foods is hiring for a full-time Warehouse Worker in Ankeny, IA on a third shift (Mon-Fri 3:30pm–12:00am) with overtime as required. The role focuses on safe operation of material handling equipment, accurate loading of trailers, and adherence to HACCP and cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and follow written and oral instructions.
• Maintain accuracy in inventory and order processing.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and follow OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move materials within the plant.
• Load finished product and orders onto trailers in the correct sequence.
• Replenish pick slots and maintain pallet integrity.
• Wrap finished orders using wrapping machines and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform daily forklift and equipment inspections and report issues.
• Follow truck schedule to move materials to the correct destinations.
• Record transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the warehouse.
