Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Loader for the night shift (4pm start) in Solon, OH. This full-time position requires operating forklifts and pallet jacks to load trailers, with responsibilities including staging, securing loads, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates have at least 6 months in warehouse work, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks. The role offers benefits and a stable schedule Sunday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 6+ months warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime as assigned.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly; able to lift 10–90 lbs depending on location and shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence.
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
• Wraps pallets with cellophane and secures loads; ensures shipping labels are in place.
• Locates proper trailer slot and secures load; removes empty pallets and packing materials.
• Inspects pallets for damage and moves them to storage as needed.
• Performs general housekeeping and keeps area clean and safe; follows safety policies.
