Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group seeks a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Ridgeway, SC. You will pick and load orders for next-day delivery, operating various warehouse equipment and ensuring safety and accuracy in every shipment.

The role offers a five-night work style (4-night week) with a 6pm start, a guaranteed 40-hour schedule, a $21.00/hour pay, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus plus full benefits within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build orders for dock routes per invoice via case picking.

• Inspect warehouse equipment daily and report deficiencies.
• Move product using forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Safely handle shipments and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Adhere to safety and alcohol-handling policies.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment and Loading

• Build orders for dock routes per invoice in a timely and accurate manner through case picking or on the bottle line.
• Load route trucks with product per the computerized schematics.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance

• Perform daily inspection of assigned warehouse equipment and reports any deficiencies.
• Move product by safely and responsibly operating material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, reach truck, keg fork dock stocker, slip-sheet lift, de-layer, clamp truck, double pallet jack and floor scrubber, as needed.

Safety and Compliance

• Safely and properly handling shipments and replenishment of product.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and reports any unsafe work area conditions.
• Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product.

Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalent, preferred
• Previous warehouse experience and/or training, preferred
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written English instructions
• Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment
• Demonstrate and exhibit high levels of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task

Physical Demands of Job

• Carrying and lifting of up to 65 pounds to perform various duties as assigned for extended periods
• Frequent reaching with intermittent reaching overhead
• Standing for extended periods of time to perform various duties
• Walking for extended periods of time to perform various duties
• Frequent squatting and/or bending to perform various duties as assigned
