Job summary

Danner’s Inc. in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Night Video Monitor to safeguard client locations by watching live cameras, identifying suspicious activity, and coordinating with security teams during overnight shifts.

You’ll work Thursday through Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, stay focused across multiple screens, document incidents, and maintain logs. Prior security or CCTV experience is preferred, but strong observation and reliability are valued.

Responsibilities

Are you observant, dependable, and comfortable working with computers and technology? Danner’s Inc. is looking for a dedicated Video Monitor to join our Security Surveillance Division. In this role, you will help protect client locations, employees, and property by monitoring live security cameras, identifying suspicious activity, and communicating with our security teams when situations require attention.

What You’ll Do

Monitor live security camera feeds and surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity, safety concerns, and potential security threats.

Recognize and respond to alarms, unusual activity, and incidents according to company procedures.

Communicate with dispatch, field personnel, management, clients, and emergency responders as needed.

Document incidents accurately and maintain detailed monitoring logs and reports.

Review recorded surveillance footage to assist with investigations and client requests.

Identify and report equipment malfunctions or interruptions in surveillance coverage.

Maintain awareness of multiple camera feeds and monitoring systems while prioritizing active incidents.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused for extended periods.

Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple screens and software systems.

Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to remain calm, use good judgment, and respond appropriately under pressure.

Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to meet company requirements for background screening, MVR review where applicable, health screening, and drug testing.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in security, video surveillance, alarm monitoring, or dispatch.

Familiarity with CCTV systems or surveillance software.

Current security license.

Previous surveillance experience is preferred, but qualified candidates with strong observation skills, reliability, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule

Thursday night through Sunday night | 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

This is a full-time overnight position with scheduled 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

The position primarily involves working at a computer workstation and maintaining visual attention to multiple monitors for extended periods.

Pay and Benefits

Starting Pay: $13.00 per hour
