Job summary

Singing River Health System in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Unit Clerk Secretary to join the Emergency Services unit, nights shift 7:00 pm–7:00 am. You will perform routine clerical and receptionist duties on the nursing unit, handling patient flow and administrative tasks in support of the care team.

Successful candidates will be high school graduates, with medical terminology knowledge preferred, and de-escalation training completed by orientation.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; medical terminology course preferred.
• Certification: de-escalation training required by orientation.
• Experience as Unit Clerk Secretary preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine clerical and receptionist duties on the nursing unit.
• Supports patient flow and administrative tasks as part of the unit team.
• Reports to the Patient Care Manager.
