Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of medical terminology course is preferred.
• Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days); must have appropriate level of de-escalation training.
• Experience as Unit Clerk Secretary preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unit Clerk Secretary functions as a member of the nursing unit team by performing routine clerical and receptionist duties as designated.
• Follow Singing River Health System procedures and policies, accreditation organization, and governing guidance for healthcare employees.
• Report to Patient Care Manager; support unit team and patient flow.
