Job summary

Allied Universal, Marysville, OH, is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol) to safeguard the automotive manufacturing site. You will patrol facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents, providing professional customer service and maintaining logs per site procedures.

The role requires basic HS diploma, 18+ years old, and background/drug screenings. Excellent communication, reliability, and a willingness to work nights are essential; competitive pay and benefits

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders while following Allied Universal and location-specific policies.
