Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard (Full Time Unarmed) in Houston, TX. You will patrol chemical/petrochemical locations, monitor access, respond to incidents, and deliver strong customer service as part of a trusted, community-focused security team.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in security, HS diploma or equivalent, and a readiness to pass background checks and drug screening; a guard card/license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors per site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of facility areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and log visits.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following established protocols.
• Observe and report hazards or suspicious activity to leadership.
