Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the overnight General Ultrasound service. The role focuses on performing ultrasound exams, welcoming patients, and ensuring quality imaging for diagnostic testing.

The ideal candidate is ARDMS certified, with a graduate ultrasound program, BCLS, and at least 3 years of ultrasound experience in general sonography, including Doppler. Night shifts are 12:00am–8:00am, on-site.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program and be ARDMS registered.
• Must have patient care experience and BCLS certification.
• General ultrasound training includes abdominal, pelvic, and Doppler imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations as part of the radiology team.
• Assess patient condition and prepare for imaging procedures.
• Select appropriate transducer and adjust equipment for diagnostic testing.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain patient and operator safety.
