Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK is seeking a night shift Ultrasound Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform quality ultrasound procedures, explain procedures to patients, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the scan, while supporting Radiologists during interventional ultrasound.

This full-time role requires ARDMS registration or eligibility, BLS within 14 days, and the ability to maintain credentialing during employment.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or registry eligible with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography).
• If registry eligible upon hire, must become registered within one year of hire.
• Must maintain registry during employment.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality ultrasound procedures and operate ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the scan.
• Transmit images and data to PACS; assist Radiologists during interventional ultrasound.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
