Job summary

Sky Lakes Medical Center is seeking a Telesitter Observation Tech for the FLEX team on the night shift. This on-site, full-time position supports patient monitoring through camera systems and two-way audio, under RN supervision, ensuring safety and timely communication with staff.

The role requires strong communication, medical terminology familiarity, and hospital experience. Direct patient care experience is preferred and a high school diploma or equivalent is recommended.

Qualifications

• Required: Verbal and written communication; telephone etiquette; medical terminology; typing and basic computer skills; hospital experience.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients via visual camera and communicate with them using a headset.
• Maintain continuous observation of assigned patients.
• Redirect patient and alert nursing staff when help is needed.
• Provide care per patient plan under RN supervision.
• Participate in shift hand-offs and safety reporting.
