Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital San Antonio Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking a Telemetry Technician for PRN, overnight shifts. You will monitor patient rhythms, verify alarms, and respond promptly to events in a 12-hour night schedule.

This PRN role pays $24/hr with a strong orientation program and potential for advancement. Part-time/Per Diem positions may qualify for a 401k after 1,000 hours within the first anniversary year.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass other tests/competencies as required by Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Continuously watch monitors and respond to alarms promptly and appropriately.
• Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms and artifacts; maintain EKG monitor alarms and respond as needed.
• Complete EKG interpretations: rate, rhythm, PRI, QRS, QTc, ST changes and rhythm interpretation.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
